Founded in 1983 and headquartered in Meriden, CT, Aplicare is a market leader in the formulation, production and packaging of topical antiseptic and personal care products for use in today’s professional health care setting. Just recently, they expanded their offering to include sterile procedural kits and trays including the first innovation in procedural kit design in over 30 years. Aplicare has two manufacturing sites: Their 200,000 sq. ft. facility in Meriden, CT manufactures the majority of their unit dose antimicrobials, including swab sticks, prep pads, and liquid pouches in a variety of configurations. Their 35,000 sq. ft. facility in Prichard, WV, produces all of their bottled antiseptics, their personal care product line, and several unit dose products including lubricating jelly and antiseptic hand gel.
